The holiday season is all about giving, and at Aspire Wealth Partners, we are thrilled to continue our tradition of the 12 Days of Giving in 2025
In place of sending Christmas cards, we are embracing a tradition that reflects our core values and commitment to the Calgary community. Over 12 days, every other business day leading up to Christmas, and then daily during Christmas week, we will spotlight a charity chosen by one of our team members. Each organization holds personal meaning and embodies the true spirit of giving back. To support their important work, each featured charity will receive a minimum donation of $1,000. Together, we celebrate a season of gratitude, generosity, and community impact.
On the sixth day of giving, Darren Cooper, our Senior Investment Advisor, nominated KidSport Alberta.
Why? “I chose KidSport Alberta as my charity for Aspire Wealth Partners’ 2025 12 Days of Giving because its mission resonates deeply with both my personal life and my values as a parent,” said Darren. “As the father of two daughters, aged 12 and 15, who are dedicated competitive acrobatic gymnasts with Light Acrobatic Gymnastics Centre, I’ve witnessed firsthand how sport shapes character, builds confidence, and teaches resilience. The discipline, teamwork, and joy that come from participating in athletics are transformative—but I also recognize that many Alberta families face financial barriers that prevent their children from accessing the same opportunities. KidSport’s commitment to removing those barriers ensures that every child, regardless of circumstance, has the chance to discover their potential through sport.”
Beyond its tangible financial support, KidSport embodies something even more meaningful: community. By helping kids get off the sidelines and into the game, it strengthens not only individual lives but the fabric of our towns and cities across Alberta.
