On the fifth day of Christmas, Gaggan Khangura<\/a>, our Senior Investment Associate, nominated the Alzheimer Society of Calgary<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Why? \u201cI chose to support Alzheimer Calgary as a way of honouring my grandmas, who lived with dementia during the last few years of their lives,\u201d said Gaggan. \u201cWhile it was undoubtedly difficult to witness their memory loss and the moments when they could not recognize loved ones, it has inspired me to support organizations like Alzheimer Calgary.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe in the power of their work to provide hope, assistance, and resources to families facing Alzheimer\u2019s and related dementias. I\u2019m proud to say that I actively participate in the Alzheimer Walk and Run every year, raising both awareness and funds for this cause \u2013 this year I was able to raise $4,525. By contributing, it\u2019s helping to make a positive impact, ensuring that individuals and families affected by this condition receive the support they need and that, one day, a cure will be found. It\u2019s a way to turn a personal experience into a source of hope and change for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
