Born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, Jake is the son of small business owners and has inherited their strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset. His straightforward manner enables him to simplify complex financial material to better help clients make wealth-related decisions.
Jake is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder who holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College and a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Having built and run a wealth management practice for over 14 years, Jake drives both the investment management and wealth planning processes for the team. He takes pride in cultivating long-term client relationships that endure life changes and market cycles.
Outside of the office, Jake chooses to tackle a physical challenge each year. His most recent accomplishments include summiting Mount Rainier and speed hiking the Grand Canyon’s Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim trail. However, the most rewarding of his challenges is keeping up with his wife, Lindsay, and their two children on the mountain bike trails and ski hills.
