Last week Cresco sponsored and participated in the Supreme Windows $1,000,000 Amateur Golf Classic in support of the Calgary Rotary Club’s Stay-In-School program. The cause is quite special as it helps support underprivileged kids here in Calgary in finishing their education from Grade six to post-secondary. Each year, four children are granted financial support and more importantly designated mentorship support until they graduate from a post-secondary institution.
From a golf standpoint our team came in 6th place and we won $800, which we donated back to the cause.
Also, as you can see from the photo Chris Durno with his sharp shooting skills found his way to the $1 million shoot out challenge. Only 8 out of 144 golfers qualified to shoot for a million. Chris is at work today… I think that tells you how he did.
