Employee Spotlight: Sharon Lozinski

Sharon has been a Senior Investment Associate with the Cresco Wealth Management team for 8 years now. She is a master at her role and an asset to our team. We asked Sharon a few questions to help you get to know her better.

Sharon, how did you get your start here at Cresco and what makes you so loyal to this particular team?

This is my 8th year on the team. I’ve known Dean Bradshaw for approximately 22 years through working at Merrill Lynch/CIBC Wood Gundy, and when the opportunity came about that Cresco was looking to fill an administrative assistant role, I jumped at the chance to work directly within his team. I have worked with many different teams in my career and it’s the client service and high standards Cresco holds for its team members that sets us apart. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of team with such high caliber.

What do you feel is the most important area one needs to understand in your role to be successful?

Exemplary client service, great attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

How do you like to relax in your free time?

Spending time with my family, binge watching shows on Netflix (I’m currently watching The Watcher) and watching my kids play their respective sports.

You love to dance, tell us where that passion came from and your journey in dance? Also, what is your favorite dance style – tap, ballet, hip hop? And why?

My Mom told me at a very young age that they took me to a performance, and at that point, I said that I wanted to be up on the stage.  They put me into ballet and tap and since I was a quick learner, my dance teacher said I should also try jazz.  Quickly I was dancing 6 days a week and loving it.  I danced from the age of 4 until I was 18 years old and then transitioned into being a dance teacher.  I mainly taught first-time dancers at this point and just loved seeing how excited they were to come to class.

My favorite dance style is lyrical mostly because of the music.  I love the emotions that some songs bring out in you.

How did you and your husband meet?

We met by chance.  A friend that I taught dancing with in Cochrane wanted to go out and she invited her boyfriend (not my husband Paul haha) but Paul was her boyfriend’s best friend and the rest is history! This year we celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary.
