Carissa, welcome back from maternity leave! We want to know all the sweet baby details. How is it being a Mom? Any advice for first timers?<\/strong><\/p>\n I am excited to be back! Being a Mom is the most rewarding, humbling, amazing thing I\u2019ve experienced in life yet. I absolutely love it, but wow what a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings of all kinds. My ONLY advice for first timers\u2026 don\u2019t take anyone’s advice!! You don\u2019t need it! Your baby, your family, and you are different and you will figure out what works for you for everything baby and parenting. Someone gave me this \u201cadvice\u201d and it really resonated for me, so this is me paying it forward. You\u2019re welcome future new momma\u2019s.<\/p>\n How long have you worked for Cresco and how did you get your start in this industry?<\/strong><\/p>\n I have been with Cresco for 3 \u00bd years. My business education was a major in accounting, but quickly after graduating and working in that industry I realized it wasn\u2019t quite for me. I found the work to be very isolating and solitary, so off I went looking for a better fit. I reached out to the small network that I had at the time and a close friend was working in finance and she recommended me for a position that was open at her company. I worked there for a couple years when I got wind that Cresco was looking to add to their Associate Team and the rest is history!<\/p>\n Can you tell us a little about the new role you’ll be stepping into at Cresco?<\/strong><\/p>\n Prior to going on Maternity Leave I was supporting our clients directly along with our Advisors and now coming back I am going to be focused more on supporting our Team internally. We function really well for a large team and my job will be to make sure nothing gets in the way of that so we can continue to provide our clients with second to none customer service.<\/p>\n What is the best part of your job here?<\/strong><\/p>\n I thrive when I can support people and solve problems. Whether that\u2019s our lovely clients or the other members of our team, that\u2019s my happy place.<\/p>\n What do you do when you’re not working?<\/strong><\/p>\n Are you sure you want to know, I\u2019m rather boring!
