The financial services industry found Chris in 1982, which meant selling insurance and RRSPs in a 20% interest rate environment. A further 5 years in a management role allowed him to complete his CLU, ChFC and CFP® designations.
In 1995, a chance phone call resulted in him agreeing to become an evening instructor in the CFP program, first in ‘Risk Management and Estate Planning’, then ‘Tax Planning’, and finally ‘Retirement Planning’. This continuing involvement in the educational aspect has helped shape his practice into a true financial planning firm, helping over 2,000 clients with tax preparation, retirement planning, and estate planning as key services.
In his spare time Chris enjoys both golf and hockey, and prefers to winter in Florida with his wife Caprice and his English Bulldog ‘Mac’.

Alan Isaacson has an ambitious vision: For Canadian family businesses to be successfully passed on to the next generation 100% of the time.
Ambitious, yet attainable if family businesses have access to someone who, like Alan, specializes in solving their unique challenges. Someone who is not only a wealth manager, but who also has decades of experience with succession and estate planning for high-net-worth family businesses. And someone whose family has been running its own businesses for generations, going back to 1940s Ireland.
Alan began his career at a large Canadian financial services company where he oversaw a large number of advisors. He now partners with Commercial Account Managers, Investment Advisors and client advisors, such as accountants and lawyers. Together they develop planning solutions that encompass personal and corporate investment portfolios, tax planning, cash and risk management – and of course succession planning.
Alan has a BA from the University of Manitoba, as well as the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), CLU® (Certified Life Underwriter) and highly specialized FEA (Family Enterprise Advisor) designations. He is an active member of the exclusive Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU), Canada’s top study and lobby group for the life insurance and investment industry.
Alan lives in Winnipeg with his family. As any long-time fan of the Blue Bombers and Jets must be, he is an eternal optimist.
