The Goldman Sachs IPO Issuance Barometer represents a gauge for market participants to monitor if the macro environment is conducive to new IPOs. While we have seen volumes pick-up, there hasn’t been a material surge just yet. The barometer would suggest that volume should continue to improve this year, which would introduce some much-needed liquidity to private markets.
