Senior Wealth Advisor
Ian understands every aspect of wealth management and has a deep knowledge of the business and a highly developed strategic ability.
Ian’s certifications include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). Ian specializes in Integrated Financial Management for business owners, tax planning, and corporate structures. Ian is a regular guest lecturer at the Shulich School of Business MBA program at York University. In 2022, Ian was named as an Ontario Top Wealth Advisor in the rankings produced by The Globe and Mail and SHOOK Research.
When not at work Ian enjoys skiing, track days with vintage cars, helping his brothers with vintage tractors and vehicle restoration and working with his wife on their Niagara-on-the-Lake property.

Tyler has a passion for helping clients navigate their personal and financial life events. Tyler takes the time to fully understand everything about a client so the team can deliver holistic advice. He surrounds himself with a team of experts to provide tailored solutions for various situations such as: exit planning, investment management, tax planning and estate planning. His interest in a wealth management career was embedded at an early age fueled by business readings his mother provided. With his interests supported by complimentary post-secondary education the transition to managing a top tier wealth management practice was seamless.
Tyler graduated with a B.A. from Brock University, completed the Seneca College Financial Planning Program and then completed the requirements for his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. Since graduating he has been a guest lecturer at Seneca College and the Shulich School of Business MBA program at York University. In 2022, Tyler was named as an Ontario Top Wealth Advisor in the rankings produced by The Globe and Mail and SHOOK Research.
When Tyler is not at work, you can find him at his family’s cottage in Haliburton or travelling with his wife Ashley. In the summer he enjoys mountain biking and golf. In the winter he downhill skis and plays hockey. He hopes to see the Maple Leafs win a Stanley Cup in his lifetime.

Emily believes that clients can be planning for tomorrow while enjoying life today. “It is so rewarding to review a client’s financial picture with them and see them realize that their goals are within reach.” Answering the clients “Am I Okay?” question with clarity and confidence contributes so much to their peace of mind.
Emily has worked in the financial services industry since 2012. She graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Economics and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Emily joined the Garriock, Manning & Associates team as an Associate Investment Advisor in July 2017.
Outside the office Emily enjoys tending her garden, cooking and making memories with her husband, son and Pug (Fred).

Ashley uses her experience in planning and organization to prioritize the team’s schedule and workload. Her penchant for attention to detail, compliments her skill in creating and implementing business operating processes that serve our clients. As a first point of contact Ashley enables prompt and responsive communication among team members and clients.
Ashley graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor Public Health degree and then studied Risk Management at Seneca College. Ashley joined our team as an Associate in March 2021.
Ashley and her husband, Tyler, have a passion for travel. You can find them hiking in Cinque Terre Italy, skiing in the Canadian Rockies and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. They look forward to adding many more destinations to their travel experiences.
