My client journey framework puts just as much emphasis on getting you and your finances properly set up for success as it does in achieving your goals. Here’s a brief overview of my process so that you can get a taste of how I set up my clients for financial success!

Step 1 – Information & Imagination

In this first step, I undergo the fact-finding portion of my process, gathering key information about you through genuine conversations. First, I want you to paint me a picture of your life – tell me about your lifestyle, family life, hobbies; I want to hear it all! Next, I will review your past investment history, what has worked and what hasn’t, and where you see yourself growing. Finally, I want you to dream big and tell me all about any investment goals or milestones you’d like to reach.

Through deep-dive discussions, I can uncover your current and future financial needs and expectations. I can also assess your level of risk, evaluate your time horizon and set realistic goals to meet your projected milestones. In summary, we lay your financial foundation to build upon it!

Step 2 – Innovation

This step includes going over a holistic view of all aspects of wealth, including establishing a well-rounded plan. In my experience, investments and insurance go hand-in-hand. Your full plan will include protection, capital appreciation and legacy planning. For example, If I were outlining an estate and retirement plan for a client, the plan would also contain a detailed investment portfolio and insurance blueprint. No matter the age of my clients, I’m always looking for creative and comprehensive solutions for protection as well as investments.

Step 3 – Integration & Implementation

I’ll be the first to admit that this is the part filled with all the less exciting technical jargon and documents to support your action plan – cue up your digital signature. However, I’m committed to going through every step with you to ensure you fully understand my role and the strategy I’ve outlined for you. I want you to feel fully confident before you’re anywhere near that dotted line.

I do have some positive news for this stage, though. Luckily, we have been able to keep most documentation digital through DocuSign – thank goodness – should have seen the giant stacks of paper that were needed just one short year ago…#thankyoucovid.

Step 4 – Inspection

In this final step, you can find me constantly monitoring and reviewing your plan to make sure you’re celebrating those milestones! As a client of mine, you’d also be undergoing a lifetime of what I like to call ‘pulse checks.’ These are meetings where we sit down to review your investment plan in order for you to be fully aware and understand where your investments stand. Financial education is so important and is an essential piece to ensure you are accomplishing your financial goals.

As for the insurance side of your plan, there is no need to constantly have check-in meetings unless there has been a significant life change. When we implement them, we try to plan for a few years out – an annual review is how I monitor and is helpful to stay on top of life changes.

I hope this brief step-by-step overview gives you a better understanding of my overall client journey… To keep up with more information about the world of finance and how I support my clients to financial success, follow me on Instagram at @wealthwithjulie or on Linkedin.

It is well known that building one’s wealth and mitigating risk takes time, but what about the time and structure needed to get set up for this long-term process?
