Using our vast collective industry experience, we work as a team to guide our clients down the path to financial independence. We wish to reduce the burden of financial stress and allow our clients to spend their time doing what they love.

Frank has worked in the wealth management industry for 39 years, specializing in portfolio management, tax, estates, and insurance. Frank was “Rookie Broker of the Year” in 1985 and has maintained that same drive for excellence throughout his entire career. In addition, Frank has produced at the Chairman’s Club level for 32 consecutive years – best known for his plan to age 100 which he customizes for each household.

Frank Mauro started his career as an Investment Advisor at Prudential Bache in 1985. In 2007, Frank partnered with Charlie Spiring at Wellington-West, helping grow the firm from $4.8B to over $10B in assets before selling to National Bank for $333M in 2011. From 2011 to 2016, he was one of National Bank’s top 10 advisors. In 2017, Frank was one of the original founders of Wellington-Altus. Frank graduated from UBC with a BComm specializing in Finance and Urban Land Economics, with minors in Psychology and Sociology.

Michael Mauro is an Investment Advisor with the Mauro Private Wealth Management Group. Michael attended the UBC Sauder School of Business, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours). Michael was also recognized as an Academic All-Canadian, while playing Varsity Soccer. Michael started his career in Wealth Management at National Bank Financial before joining Wellington-Altus as a licensed advisor on our team. In his spare time, Michael is a passionate sports fan – fascinated with the statistical analytic side of the game.

Jordan Mauro

Investment Advisor

Jordan Mauro is an Investment Advisor with the Mauro Private Wealth Management Group. He attended the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Science in Finance degree, all in four years. He graduated Magna Cum Laude. Jordan was the first undergrad to be elected the President of his Master’s program and graduated at the top of his class. During his time at USC, Jordan also served as Philanthropy Chair. Upon graduation, he worked at a private equity firm that specialized in health care in the United States before joining Wellington-Altus. Jordan is enthusiastic about growing his current client base. Outside of work, Jordan loves being active – his current favorite is pickleball, following all major sports, and travelling.

As an investment advisor at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth, Michael Minicucci is proud to be part of an elite team dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals with precision and care. With a BA in Economics and Psychology from UBC, he brings a deep understanding of both markets and behavioural finance when partnering with clients. In addition, Michael’s early career at a large Canadian financial institution helped ground him in the deep expertise and insight he offers clients.

Golf is more than a hobby for Michael; it’s a passion that has taught him discipline, strategy, and perseverance. Having played at the varsity level and won the Canadian Junior National Skills Event, Michael brings the same dedication to crafting winning financial strategies. As a member of Seymour Golf and Country Club in North Vancouver, he knows firsthand the importance of community and connection.

Michael grew up in North Vancouver where the values of hard work, integrity, and a love for nature were instilled in him. When not analyzing market trends or advising clients, you’ll find Michael cycling through scenic routes, capturing moments through photography, or delving into a good book. Megan Mauro

Megan Mauro is an Associate with the Mauro Private Wealth Management Group. Megan attended the University of British Columbia, graduating with a BA in Sociology and a Master’s in Business Management from the Sauder School of Business. Megan was awarded the Trek Excellence Scholarship for being in the top 5% of her faculty and was also recognized on the Dean’s list every year while she completed her 2 degrees. Megan began her career in Wealth Management as an intern at National Bank Financial prior to joining Wellington-Altus. Megan plans to complete all requirements to become a licensed advisor on the team. In her spare time, Megan is passionate about fitness and well-being and can often be found doing something active.

Joaly Reyes

Branch Administrator

Joaly Reyes is the Branch Administrator with the Mauro Private Wealth Management Group. Joaly holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from San Martin University (Colombia) and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University Canada West. Joaly has worked in the financial services industry for over six years. Prior to joining Wellington-Altus, she worked as an Assistant Investment Advisor at Harbourfront Wealth Management in downtown Vancouver. Joaly strives to provide exceptional service to clients and excels at providing solutions to achieve customer satisfaction. In her spare time, Joaly enjoys exploring the outdoors, biking the seawall in Stanley Park, and hiking in the North Shore mountains.
