Lindsay-Sparrow

Lindsay Sparrow

MBA, CFP®, CDFA®, CIM®

Senior Wealth Advisor

Lindsay is relentlessly committed to her client’s financial success. With respect, Lindsay has no qualms about the magnitude of responsibility and the critical role she plays in her clients’ lives and futures. Education is one of the top recommended qualifications people should look for when choosing a financial professional. Lindsay has taken this very seriously and is committed to academia, working to obtain her PhD by 2026 through the University of British Columbia. Lindsay believes the steward of your wealth (your advisor) and your investment portfolio should never feel stagnant. Markets are ever-evolving, and instead of looking in the rearview mirror, look forward and embrace innovation and how the world is changing. Clients should only accept an advisor who is working tirelessly to make the most out of their hard-earned savings, so they can live their best life now and during retirement.

Lindsay has built a reputation of being THE wealth advisor to women and is an unapologetic ambassador for the female investor. Although 50% of her clients are men and couples, she makes sure not to forget about the unique challenges women face long term. Lindsay has created an experience for women that is very hard to find in the wealth management industry. Taking to heart the connection women often feel is missed within their advisor relationship and respecting the biases and wealth gap negatively impacting women’s wallets and long-term financial security.

Lindsay and her husband Ryan own a number of businesses, making her uniquely qualified to work with entrepreneurs. Lindsay has her finger on the pulse and never loses sight of what it takes to be a successful business owner. With nearly two decades of investment experience, an MBA in finance, and the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation under her belt, Lindsay is well-versed to advise on complex business structures and mapping business succession plans.

In Lindsay’s work with women and business owners, she noticed a gap in advice specific to divorce. Business owners have notoriously failed to protect their businesses from the financial risk of divorce, and Lindsay noticed an unfortunate trend of women accepting low divorce settlements. To bridge this advice gap, Lindsay became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) and is a go-to expert in all financial aspects related to divorce.

With Saskatchewan roots, Lindsay grew up in the small town of Meadow Lake, where her parents raised her and her three siblings in poverty. Lindsay’s personal experience watching her parents struggle financially shaped her relationship with money. As a result, Lindsay single-handedly equates her professional success to the challenging circumstances she witnessed growing up. Lindsay is no stranger to the struggle most Canadians face. However, her family and friends believe her upbringing is responsible for her endless motivation and commitment to help people build their wealth.

Lindsay is comfortable in all settings—swapping from rubber boots to a hard hat into high-heels is all in a days’ work. Lindsay loves side-by-siding, sledding, and wake surfing, but wine touring is her favorite sport. Lindsay loves spending time in Kelowna with Ryan, where they can enjoy all of their favourite things.
