Founded in 1972, Stovel Asset Management was created by David Stovel with the purpose of delivering expert financial advice and compassionate, all-encompassing wealth management solutions to each of the families under our care. Over the years, our team has helped clients navigate through market fluctuations, economic uncertainties, and personal milestones. Today, David’s son, Craig Stovel, leads our team. He continues to champion the same principles that formed the foundation of the practice – integrity, accountability, generosity, and compassion – as he helps guide our clients and their families towards their dreams and financial peace of mind.

With over two decades of experience in the financial industry, Craig is a dedicated wealth advisor that guides clients toward their financial aspirations with confidence and clarity. A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market opportunities, he builds tailored wealth management solutions that align with each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances. Craig believes in a relationship-first approach, forging strong connections and acting as a trusted partner in all aspects of his clients’ financial lives. His commitment to personalized service includes portfolio management, financial and estate planning, insurance, and facilitating intergenerational wealth transfers.
Beyond investment management, Craig is a leader in philanthropic planning, helping clients integrate charitable giving into their long-term wealth strategies. With over 10 years of experience in this space, he specifically is uniquely positioned to assist both individual, corporate, and non-for-profit clients in making a meaningful impact on the causes they care about by integrating wealth planning within their philanthropic goals.
Outside of work, Craig values quality time with his wife, daughter, and son, especially enjoying the outdoors and skiing as a family. An advocate for an active lifestyle, he also enjoys squash, golf, and sailing to stay energized and engaged.

As the key relationship manager, Carrie plays a vital role in driving client engagement, fostering trust, and ensuring long-term business success. She takes a proactive approach to strengthening client relationships, anticipating needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance their wealth experience. Committed to excellence, she prioritizes responsiveness, strategic problem-solving, and a seamless client journey.
Beyond client relationship management, Carrie is deeply involved in business development and operational strategy. She oversees team processes, enhances efficiency, and ensures the team operates at peak performance. Her ability to integrate client-first solutions with strong business operations makes her a valuable asset in sustaining and expanding the team. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, where she also earned a Certificate in Social Impact.
Passionate about leadership beyond the workplace, Carrie is actively involved in mentorship and philanthropy. She supports the SickKids Foundation through fundraising initiatives and guides aspiring professionals through Queen’s Women in Financial Markets. She believes in building strong, lasting relationships—both professionally and personally—and enjoys quality time with her family and friends. In her free time, she practices Pilates and explores holistic nutrition.
Investment Associate
Antonio will be working closely with our team on trading and portfolio management. His role involves contributing to the execution of investment strategies and helping deliver solutions that align with client objectives. Antonio’s collaborative approach and attention to detail make him a strong addition to the team as we continue to enhance our capabilities and client experience.
He brings with him four years of experience in banking, where he developed a solid foundation in client-focused service and financial operations. During this time, Antonio gained valuable expertise in managing complex processes and anticipating client needs, skills that will serve him well in supporting both portfolio management and relationship-building efforts. His ability to combine technical knowledge with a client-first mindset ensures he will make a meaningful impact on our team.
Outside of work, Antonio is passionate about sports and travel. He is an avid Leaf’s fan and a dedicated follower of Formula One racing, often keeping up with the latest teams and events. When he’s not watching a game or a race, Antonio enjoys exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures.
