Huguette grew up on a small dairy farm in the town of Saint-Labre, Manitoba, and attended school in La Broquerie, Manitoba. Seeking new experiences, she attended Université de Saint-Boniface before heading to Germany for a year of reflection and adventure.
Upon returning home, Huguette completed her Culinary Arts diploma at Red River College Polytech and earned her Red Seal certification. As her family grew, she recognized the importance of family time and transitioned into a career as an educational assistant before joining the federal government.
With over 25 years of customer service experience, Huguette has built strong client relationships while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
Huguette spends her free time volunteering for Coop Vélo-cité (a local bike co-operative) and St-Labre 200 (an annual go-kart competition). She has also been an active member of La ligue d’improvisation du Manitoba, a local French improv league, for over 15 seasons. Her two children keep her busy with after-school activities and road trips.
