This month marks four years since the Wagner Investment Management Team joined Wellington-Altus Private Wealth \u2014 a milestone that invites reflection on how far we\u2019ve come, what we\u2019ve learned, and where we\u2019re heading next.<\/p>\n

The past four years have brought immense change \u2014 in the world, in markets, and in the lives of many of our clients. From the uncertainty of a global pandemic to rising interest rates and shifting economic conditions, we\u2019ve had the privilege of helping people navigate through it all with confidence and clarity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m proud of making the move to Wellington-Altus four years ago,\u201d<\/em> shares Susyn Wagner. \u201cIt reminded me that true change is good, and complacency isn\u2019t. It was a lot of work, but definitely worth it. I\u2019m especially proud of how our team stepped up during these past four years, guiding our clients \u2014 particularly those entering retirement during the uncertainty of COVID, rising interest rates, inflation, and political uncertainty. Providing them with confidence and clarity has truly mattered to me.\u201d
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Growth That\u2019s Supported \u2014 and Shared<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

One of the defining characteristics of our time at Wellington-Altus has been the support for professional growth \u2014 something that has created lasting impact for us and our clients.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the reasons I\u2019m so glad we made the move to Wellington-Altus is the support we\u2019ve received along the way,\u201d<\/em> says Karen Routledge. \u201cIn my own case, I had a long-standing goal of becoming a Portfolio Manager. The team here not only encouraged that ambition but actively supported me in achieving it \u2014 which I\u2019m proud to say became a reality earlier this year.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Supportive culture also means making space to give back. Karen adds:<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing part of a firm that values growth and mentorship has also opened new doors, like the opportunity to give back through the Women of Wellington initiative, where I\u2019ve been able to mentor other women in our industry.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

It Takes a Team
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

We often say our clients are at the centre of everything we do \u2014 and so is our team<\/a>. The dedication behind the scenes is a key reason we\u2019re able to deliver consistently high service and trusted advice.<\/p>\n

Making the leap from a bank-owned firm to an independent platform brought with it a mindset shift \u2014 one that deepened our commitment to tailored, client-first advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing at Wellington-Altus has given me the flexibility to tailor our advice and strategies around what clients truly need,\u201d<\/em> says Susyn. \u201cIt was a big change from a bank-owned environment, and stepping into partnership shifted my perspective, making me view decisions with an ownership mindset.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
