Drawing from over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, Steve works alongside private clients and institutional investors with over $5 million in assets to build diversified portfolios. Solid financial principles and long-term strategies have always formed the bedrock for everything he does. And through that, Steve’s built a reputation for his sharp decision-making and comprehensive approach to planning, encompassing everything from tax and estate planning to retirement savings strategies, alternative investments, and private equity.
Calgary-born, Steve was drawn to investing at an early age and went on to study finance and economics in university. After a brief stint in investment banking, he found his passion for portfolio management, earning his CIM® designation.
When he’s not working with clients, Steve likes to spend his time skiing, golfing, and playing hockey. In the past, he has spent countless hours coaching high school football and continues to make time to volunteer at The Calgary Food Bank.
Courtenay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society; a foundation that has equipped her with a unique perspective of the financial world. Drawing upon over two years of private wealth management experience, Courtenay strives to cultivate genuine and enduring relationships through exemplary client services & support.
Courtenay thrives on continuous learning and growth in all aspects of her life, and recently obtained her Canadian Securities registration. Outside of work, you can find her baking, at the gym or cherishing time with her family and new puppy Oakley.

Judith is based in Kelowna, BC and works with advisory teams and clients across Canada to bring innovative tax strategies and estate planning solutions to their wealth plans. Judith believes a client’s objectives must drive any plan and loves helping clients find personalized solutions to their planning needs.
Prior to joining Wellington-Altus, Judith spent over 10 years at top-tier law and accounting firms advising clients on complex tax issues. Passionate about tax and making tax planning relevant and accessible to all, she regularly prepares presentations on various tax issues and has contributed to numerous publications on selected tax topics. She has been a speaker at various Canadian Tax Foundation conferences and a facilitator and lecturer for CPA Canada’s “In-Depth Tax Program”.
Judith graduated from the Université de Montréal with a Bachelor of Laws in civil law and a Master of Laws in taxation (jointly with HEC Montréal). Judith is a lawyer with the Barreau du Québec and a Canadian Legal Advisor with the Law Society of British Columbia.
Outside of work, she is an avid runner and cyclist, and loves to explore local trails. She can often be found enjoying the outdoor mountain playgrounds that surround her home.
Associate Vice-President, Advanced Wealth Planning
Alex is an Associate Vice President based in Winnipeg, MB. Alex is passionate about educating clients on personal finance strategies so that they are empowered to optimize their wealth plans and achieve their financial goals.
Prior to joining Wellington-Altus, Alex worked in the financial services industry with two of the big Canadian banks. There he oversaw holistic client relationships and engaged with clients in planning all facets of their wealth journeys including investment management, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
Alex is an accredited financial planner, holding the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Personal Financial Planner (PFP®), and Fellow of CSI designations, in addition to having completed the Life License Qualification Program.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling to locales with unique flora & fauna and spending time with his spouse, along with their miniature Australian Shepherd, Atlas.
