Cresco Summer Favourites

A watermelon with the words cut out "Hello Summer"

Summer is a time to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy everything our short Canadian summers have to offer. We asked our team to share some of their favourite things this season, from recipes and local restaurants to travel destinations, books, podcasts, and summer traditions.

We hope you discover a new recommendation or two to enjoy this summer.

Turk de Soleil burgers. These turkey burgers are delicious; we top them bánh mì style with pickled carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, and jalapeños. Get the recipe here.

Corn salad with chile and lime. Get the recipe here.

Dean
Rhubarb and chipotle sauce served with salmon or halibut. Get the recipe here.

A classic Aperol Spritz. A simple 3-2-1 ratio: 3 oz Prosecco, 2 oz Aperol, and 1 oz club soda, all poured over ice and garnished with a fresh orange slice.

Pamela
A refreshing Lambrusco Spritz. Get the recipe here.

Anything cooked over an open-flame BBQ; I like to experiment with different woods too.
