Meet the Team

Scott Fleischhacker

Scott Fleischhacker

PFP®

Senior Investment Advisor

Scott has been in the wealth management industry for almost 30 years and has established himself as a trusted advisor with the families he helps, most of them having over 20-year relationships. What started out as managing people’s money has evolved into helping clients live the life they want to live as it isn’t always just about how much wealth they create.

Throughout his career, Scott has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for the client experience as he helps individuals and families achieve their financial goals. He prides himself on not only helping clients increase their wealth, but he also focuses on their health and how “wealth and health” go hand-in-hand to having a successful retirement.

For Scott, by far the most satisfying parts of his job are the genuine relationships and more importantly, the friendships that have formed along the way. Being invited to weddings and other family events shows how Scott is far more than just their ‘investment guy.’ This level of care and attention towards clients along with his commitment to financial planning has contributed to Scott being recognized as a top advisor and member of his previous firm’s coveted President’s Council since its inception.

Scott applies what he learned from his upbringing on the family farm in Saskatchewan to the work he does with clients today. Simply put, work hard, treat people the way you would like to be treated, and don’t take things for granted because you don’t know when they’ll be gone.

Outside of work, you can find Scott on the golf course in the summer, accompanying his daughter to horse shows and rodeos across Alberta, or spending quality time at the cabin with his family.

Sonja Lorenson

Sonja Lorenson

Senior Wealth Associate

Sonja has been a key part of Scott’s team since 2013. She plays an essential role in the high client satisfaction ratings that Scott receives year after year from his clients. Sonja is always striving to give 100%, especially when it comes to taking care of clients. The best part of her job is really getting to know clients and their families. She will always make time to talk with them and find out what’s going on in their lives.

Sonja has been professionally training and showing Morgan horses for 30 years. She has trained, shown, and directed amateurs and junior exhibitors to Grand National and World Championship wins, which take place every year in Oklahoma City. A lot of her passion for horses stems back to her great grandfather who came to Canada importing Clydesdales to Alberta.

Sonja is proud to be born and raised in Alberta. She loves everything from camping to quadding, dirt biking, paddling, cross-country skiing; you name it – the bigger the adventure, the better. Sonja and Roger are married and have a daughter Aidan who is currently attending U of A, and a son, Eric, who is finishing high school in Leduc. As a family, they try to spend as much time as possible on a lake, river or in the mountains.
