This summer, I was thrilled to be able to make a couple of guest appearances and share some of my knowledge with a few wonderful local podcasts! I’m a big advocate for education around finances and thought that sharing my entrepreneurial journey as well as some of my industry insights would perhaps provide a stepping stone for other Calgarians to seek out information to become more financially literate. I hope that you’ll find each episode informative and entertaining enough to keep you engaged on your morning commute or to keep you company during an upcoming fall road trip. Check out the complete list of my recent podcast appearances below!
The Vow: This Calgary-based podcast is built on the empowerment of others through the sharing of real-life stories hosted by realtor and entrepreneur Tanya Eklund. Tanya dives into the lives of admirable women overcoming everyday challenges while exploring what they do to maintain a positive push for what the future holds. I sat down with Tanya Eklund to chat about my entrepreneurial journey, my projections for the stock market, and Tanya’s world of real estate.
Ladies Who Launch: Tune into this podcast with hosts Darby and Alyssa, where they and their guests share their stories of launching businesses, ideas, and conversations. They also love to discuss the general chaos that is life in Calgary which is definitely an entertaining treat for those who know. In addition, I was happy to share some of my tips surrounding owning and growing your wealth with a focus on women’s entrepreneurship. Trust me; these women will soon feel like your best friends by the end of the episode.
After Hours: After Hours is a platform for conversations with some of Canada’s most dynamic creative entrepreneurs. Driven by open, honest discussions, Amanda Hamilton and her guests dig into what makes businesses thrive, giving the listener tactical insights and takeaways to fuel success, create enduring rituals, and crush it in life and business. In my episode, I discuss the topic of financial feminism with a focus on investing, saving, and reclaiming the female competitive edge with Amanda. I also share my experience working in a male-dominated industry and how I prioritize balancing my business and my home life… ah, the eternal struggle that sometimes I think I’m conquering 🙏🏻.
Calgary’s Business Podcast: The host of the Calgary Business Podcast, Allen Wazny, is focused on meeting Calgary business owners, educators, students, influencers, artists, non-profit executives and other business leaders based in Calgary to discuss issues of importance to them. In my conversation with Allen, we discussed fintech, traditional banking, and self-trading platforms (such as Questrade). If any of these topics interest you and you don’t mind hearing me talk for an hour, then this episode should be right up your alley!⠀
Thank you to those who have tuned in along the way, and I hope you keep your ears open to any future podcasts that I’ll be sure to share.
