As you might know, I’m a BIG proponent of balance, both in my work life (as you can see in my blog here) and in my personal life. Today, I want to give you a little glimpse into my “free time,” or what I have of it after I factor in family time, work, school drop-offs, synchro competitions and hockey games. 😅 Over the years, some of the most beneficial things for my overall well-being have been a good workout and a minute to indulge in a good read, an inspiring podcast or a peaceful meditation. Below are some helpful resources if you’re looking to enhance your day-to-day routine.
Styled by Kasey (SBK) Living
Kasey from SBK Living is a breath of fresh air in the blogger community. She is a woman with a focus on healthy living, home design, motherhood and a bit of casual fashion. Whenever I’m looking for my daily dose of inspiration (sometimes among the chaos that is my home in between ALL the things), a healthy, delicious recipe or just some real talk, I often find myself perusing SBK.
Melissa Wood Health
Melissa Wood Health is a platform that provides so much, from gentle workouts to the Move With Heart Podcast. She is real, happy and provides thoughtful tidbits to get you thinking – plus her fashion sense is AH-mazing! I love being able to balance out my Barry’s with a lighter Pilates or yoga workout. Have you been feeling like your mindset just needs a bit of a reset? Melissa Wood has an app that I have found is great for accessibility on the go – it can be found here. P.S. she has a walking meditation, how great is that?!
The Female Quotient
If you caught up on my ‘Femininity is my Superpower’ blog for WXN, then you know I’m passionate about heart-centered leading with compassion, intention, strength and more. The Female Quotient is centered around these values, focused on closing the gender gaps and empowering women through engaging events, useful resources and ongoing support. Seriously, you just have to follow their Instagram for great quotes, insights and more.
Lisa Homsy
You can source your travel inspo from Lisa Homsy – cue the wanderlust! Sometimes, when I’m not taking in the latest Market Insights, I’ll sit down with my morning coffee and scroll through Lisa’s feed dreaming of far-off desert adventures, waterfall swims and beach days. Lisa is a Montreal gal – she is a friend of our family’s and has a wonderful heart and a passion for adventure… This is the best way to kick your wealth building motivation into high gear – get saving for those trips!
