Senior Investment Advisor

Dan Wynnyk is a Senior Investment Advisor with Wellington- Altus Private Wealth. Prior to this, Dan and his top performing team (The Waterfront Group) were with a bank-owned brokerage for two decades and recognized as part of the elite Chairman’s Club Council.

Dan and his team specialize in alternative investments and money management services including estate planning to ultra-high net worth individuals and organizations In Ontario and British Columbia.

He has been frequently interviewed on television and has written for numerous publications. Dan was also nominated in 2020 for top advisor in Canada by Wealth Professional Magazine. Having one of the highest client retentions rates in the Industry, the team is among Canada’s most accomplished.

In 2017 Dan was one of 15 residents of the riding of Oakville North—Burlington to receive the Canada Sesquicentennial 150 citizenship award in recognition of the positive impact aid influence he has made on his community. Dan seeks to promote the welfare of others through his daily acts of kindness including personal and corporate giving. He and his mother are fund holders of the Now I Can Children’s Fund with the Burlington Foundation, whose mandate is to award scholarships and sponsor social programs to at-risk youth.

Dan loves to travel and when away from work he can be found surfing the beaches of Tofino or Snowboarding the mountains of Canada.

Andrew Vuk

Andrew Vuk

Investment Advisor

Andrew is an Investment Advisor with the Waterfront Group at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth. Prior to joining the team, he worked for a large multi-office investment council firm where he was a portfolio manager responsible for providing wealth advice, financial planning, investment research & discretionary portfolio modelling. He also spent more than a decade working at two major Canadian banks in their wealth and asset management divisions. His unique blend of experience has afforded him the ability to provide holistic advice to individuals, families, business owners and professionals. He enjoys building long lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and educating them along the way, so that seemingly complex or new topics are easy-to-understand and leave them feeling empowered to make decisions. 

Andrew completed his Master of Finance at Queen’s University Smith School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics and a double minor in Finance and Mathematics from McMaster University. He’s committed to continuing education to better serve and educate clients. Over the years, he’s attained the Chartered Financial Analyst, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Charted Investment Manager designations.

Andrew lives in Burlington with his wife and two daughters, who are at the center of everything he does when not at the office. Aside from spending quality time with family & friends, he enjoys playing a round of golf and cooking or grilling.

Jennifer beatty

Associate

Jennifer is an Associate with the Waterfront Group at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth. Prior to joining the team, she worked in product marketing and communications for large asset management firms in Toronto, where she was responsible for leading new investment product launches and advisor and investor communications. She also spent more than a decade working at major banks in their wealth and asset divisions including roles as an Investment and Retirement Planner and Financial Planner. She’s passionate about getting to know the unique stories of each client, providing holistic advice, and delivering exceptional service to foster long lasting relationships.

Jennifer completed the Chartered Investment Manager and Personal Financial Planner designations.

Jennifer lives in Burlington and enjoys an active lifestyle, including skiing, golf, and tennis.

Kat Elliott

Client Services Associate

Kat is a Client Service Associate with the Waterfront Group at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth. She brings with her 13 years of experience in customer service, including a training manager position where she recruited and trained managers to prepare them for roles across Ontario in the retail world. During that time, she also graduated from her studies in health, fitness, and nutrition. From there, she transitioned into the financial industry by joining a large private equity firm as an administrative coordinator providing support to advisors and leading the anti-money laundering document team. Now, she’s excited to take on a more challenging role and grow within the dynamic environment at Wellington-Altus. She is a very social person and is excited to forge meaningful relationships and provide the exceptional customer service that our clients deserve.

Outside of work, Kat enjoys staying active, whether it’s the at the gym, yoga, running, or hiking. She loves spending time with friends and family, as well as reading, attending concerts, camping, and travelling.
