Alex’s keen interest for economics began while managing operations for the family business. It was during this time that he completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) out of pure interest and decided to pursue a career in finance. His journey began as a bilingual Banking Advisor at one of Canada’s largest banks where he provided various financial services and credit solutions to retail and high-net-worth clients. Alex knew his passion was to assist clients with their investments and help them navigate the financial markets, which led him to shift his career to the wealth management industry as an Associate with a private investment firm. As an Associate, Alex spearheaded fundraising activities through the firm’s United Way employee campaign, winning him the Employee Campaign Chair Award in 2021.

Alex has completed the Wealth Management Essentials (WME®) course and is now a Registered Representative. His goals are to complete the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and obtain his insurance license to better help clients. Alex proudly joined Wellington-Altus Private Wealth as an Associate Investment Advisor with the Spiring Wealth Management team in July 2023 and looks forward to building his skills, knowledge, and relationships towards a bright future. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, creating music, reading, and travelling.
