Latest Developments on Our Firm, Markets and Strategic Positioning

It has been a real roller coaster ride in the markets over the past 9-months, with Canadian equities down -3.1%, EAFE markets down -7.1% and the S&P 500 up 5.6% thanks to its strong tech weighting. Overall, there appears to be some trepidation as we head into the fall with worries over the upcoming U.S. election and the economic impact from the second wave of the COVID virus. That said, we do see a number of opportunities for the contrarian out there.
