Alzheimer Society of Calgary: 12 Days of Giving

The holiday season is all about giving, and at Aspire Wealth Partners, we are thrilled to continue our tradition of the 12 Days of Giving in 2025

In place of sending Christmas cards, we are embracing a tradition that reflects our core values and commitment to the Calgary community. Over 12 days, every other business day leading up to Christmas, and then daily during Christmas week, we will spotlight a charity chosen by one of our team members. Each organization holds personal meaning and embodies the true spirit of giving back. To support their important work, each featured charity will receive a minimum donation of $1,000. Together, we celebrate a season of gratitude, generosity, and community impact.

On the eleventh day of giving, Gaggan Khangura, our Team Manager and Senior Investment Associate, nominated the Alzheimer Society of Calgary.

Why? “I support Alzheimer Calgary in honour of both my grandmothers, who lived with dementia in their final years,” said Gaggan. “Witnessing their decline—especially the moments when they couldn’t recognize loved ones—was deeply painful. But it also inspired me to act and stand behind organizations that make a real difference.”

“Alzheimer Calgary provides vital resources, hope, and support to families navigating the challenges of dementia. I’m proud to contribute through the annual Alzheimer Walk and Run, where I raised $6,100 this year to help ensure those affected receive the care they deserve.”

“Beyond fundraising, I also volunteer at local nursing homes, connecting with Punjabi-speaking residents who often face isolation due to language barriers. Speaking with them in their native language brings comfort and familiarity and helps bridge that gap. For me, it’s about transforming personal experience into meaningful impact—supporting families today and working toward a future where dementia no longer steals memories.”

Please follow along on our LinkedIn page and our website as we highlight a new charity until December 24.

From the entire team at Aspire Wealth Partners, we wish you and your family a very happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

January Market Insights: The 2026 Market Forecast

History does not move in straight lines. Markets ricochet between excess and restraint in violent cycles, a truth American economist Peter Bernstein hammered home and one investors are again being forced to relearn. The foundation for the 2026 investment thesis is that with interest payments on U.S. debt now exceeding annual defense spending, the fiscal constraint has become too binding to ignore, and structural adjustment is no longer optional. We have no choice but to adjust; the system is in a state of flux.
