Himalaya Jain

Himalaya Jain is a Senior Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager with The Rosedale Family Office. Himalaya brings his extensive experience and investing discipline to assist in developing and implementing investment strategies dedicated to your portfolio. Before transitioning to becoming Senior Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager, Himalaya had 15 years of institutional experience. Prior to joining the team, Himalaya was the director of Canadian Equities of the Portfolio Advisory Group for Canada where he supported advisors with investment and Canadian Equity insight. He was also an Equity Research Analyst at Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets covering the real estate, REIT, and hospitality sectors. Himalaya has also held equity research positions at other Canadian investment firms since 1997. Prior to the investment industry, Himalaya held corporate finance positions at TD Canada Trust and was an auditor at Deloitte. Himalaya earned an MBA degree from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and holds a BA degree (Chartered Accounting) from the University of Waterloo.

Himalaya is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a civilian volunteer with 1188 Lorne Scots Royal Canadian Army Cadets, and served as Chair of the Cadet Support Committee (2011-2014).

When he’s not studying economic trends and managing client portfolios, Himalaya enjoys navigating mountain trails, deciphering foreign menus, and wandering through historic sites around the world.
